CPR & First Aid

Victoria College’s Public Service department offers a range of CPR and First Aid courses to meet the immediate needs of healthcare providers, educators, and individuals seeking life-saving skills. These noncredit courses provide practical, hands-on training in compliance with American Heart Association guidelines, with opportunities to earn nationally recognized certifications.

Course offerings include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, and AED. No entrance exams or admissions applications are required, making it easy for participants to enroll and enhance their emergency response skills quickly.

Course Requirements

Individuals interested in the Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses must be licensed healthcare professionals, including registered nurses, paramedics, nurse practitioners, physician's assistants, respiratory therapists, or doctors. These courses are designed for those already working in critical or emergency care settings.
