The Victoria College Foundation has over 100 scholarships available for eligible VC students. The VCF scholarship application is available to students who have applied for admission and been accepted to VC. VCF scholarships are for current and incoming VC students only and are not transferrable.  Apply Here

Priority Deadline: March 10, 2025
Application Closes: August 29, 2025

Selection Process
Scholarship recipient selections begin after the Priority Application Deadline and continue throughout the academic year. To increase the possibility of receiving a scholarship award, submit your completed application before the priority deadline. If you miss the priority deadline, you should still apply before the closing date. 

The scholarship committee reviews and scores scholarship applications. Committee members are composed of faculty and staff. Rating points are given to each applicant for the overall content and quality of their application, attention to spelling, grammar and punctuation, expression of academic goals, participation in extracurricular or community activities, and their responses to the essay questions. Selections are based on the applicant meeting the minimum scholarship criteria, and the points given by scholarship committee.

Award Acceptance
Scholarship recipients are required to complete the acceptance steps through their Pirate Portal > Financial Aid Dashboard > Student Requirements. Acceptance steps include an electronic signature and thank you note upload. Failure to complete these steps by the acceptance deadline can result in forfeiture of the award.

Revocation of Award
The Victoria College Foundation reserves the right to cancel any scholarship at any time if the recipient fails to meet the standards of academic progress, scholarship criteria and requirements, or if falsification of information is reported or determined.

Scholarship funding is available for students enrolling and completing their certification or training in Allied Health Continuing Education. Check out the Allied Health Continuing Education page for a complete list of programs and details on how to get started. Allied health scholarships are for non-credit programs only. Once a student has been accepted into a program, they may to fill out the Allied Health Continuing Scholarship Application.

VISD students attending Victoria East or Victoria West, please contact the Career and College Coach on your campus to access scholarship funds.

Dual credit student applications will not be accepted or awarded by completing any other scholarship application.
