Crossroads Community Band
The community is invited to enjoy two upcoming performances by the Crossroads Community Band, featuring patriotic music, holiday favorites, and the talents of local musicians.
The band will present its Veterans Day Concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Victoria West High School Auditorium located at 307 Tropical Drive. The free concert will feature patriotic favorites and classic works by renowned composers John Philip Sousa and Charles Ives, celebrating the nation’s spirit and the tradition of American band music.
The band will return for its Holiday Concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at VC’s Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts. The program will feature selections from the beloved holiday film “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and other seasonal favorites. The performance will conclude with an audience sing-along, inviting attendees to join in the holiday spirit.
Both performances are free and open to the public and will showcase local musicians, including Victoria College students who participate in the Crossroads Community Band for college credit.
