Registration is open for Spring 2027 courses at Victoria College’s Gonzales Center, which offers education, workforce training, and adult education services to residents of Gonzales and surrounding communities.
Spring workforce training opportunities include hands-on instruction in the industrial trades, with courses in areas such as electrical, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVACR), and welding. These programs are designed to help students develop technical skills and earn industry-recognized credentials for careers in in-demand fields.
Truck-driving training also is available at the Gonzales Center. The 11-week course meets two days a week and prepares students to earn a Class A Commercial Driver’s License, or CDL, for careers in the transportation industry.
VC’s Gonzales Center also offers adult education services, including classes to help adults prepare for the GED exam and English as a second language (ESL) classes.
For students pursuing a college degree, Victoria College offers a variety of online courses that can be applied toward associate or bachelor’s degree pathways. Students taking online courses can complete required testing locally at the Gonzales Center.
Eligible students can register online through the Pirate Portal or schedule an appointment with an advisor at VictoriaCollege.edu/Advising.
Payment plans are available, and students are encouraged to explore financial aid and scholarship opportunities that may help offset the cost of college.
VC’s Gonzales Center is located at 1828 St. Paul St., behind the Armory building. For more information about industrial trades, workforce training, online courses, testing, and other services, call (830) 672-6251 or visit VictoriaCollege.edu/GonzalesCenter.
Victoria College’s administrative offices will be closed Nov. 22-28 for Fall Break and Dec. 20-Jan. 1 for Winter Break.
