2026 Empty Bowls event served up community support

Community members gathered at Victoria College’s Emerging Technology Complex for the 2026 Empty Bowls event, raising funds to help fight food insecurity across the Crossroads. Proceeds from the event benefit the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent, Christ’s Kitchen, Victoria Christian Assistance Ministry, Meals on Wheels South Texas, and Victoria College’s Pirate Pantry. Each $20 ticket included a one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic bowl created by local potters and VC art students, along with soup, bread, and a drink donated by local restaurants and chefs.
