Victoria College will offer a convenient Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training course this summer.
The eight-week course is scheduled from July 15 to September 5, with classes held Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 to 10 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This new evening and weekend format is designed to accommodate students who work or have other obligations during traditional weekday hours.
The total cost of the course is $4,750, which includes classroom instruction, behind-the-wheel training, and preparation for the CDL skills test. Financial assistance options are available.
A Class A CDL license allows the holder to operate a wide range of heavy vehicles. The course will be held at VC’s Emerging Technology Complex located at 7403 Lone Tree Road.
