Shiner High School wins VC’s 2024 Welding Rodeo

Shiner High School won first place in Victoria College’s 2024 Welding Rodeo on October 26. Pictured from left to right are students Luke Villareal, Aaron Migl, Chase Malinovsky and Kylynn Ramirez.

Other high schools competing in the event were Gonzales, Goliad, Nixon-Smiley, Sacred Heart, Victoria West, Yorktown and Yoakum.

Victoria College offers welding training, including a Welding Occupational Skills Award, a Basic Welding Certificate, and an Advanced Welding Certificate at the Main Campus in Victoria and three levels of Workforce and Continuing Education training in Gonzales.
