Victoria College honors Associate Degree Nursing graduates at Pinning Ceremony

Victoria College’s Associate Degree Nursing Program honored 47 Spring 2024 graduates during a Pinning Ceremony on May 9 at VC’s Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts.

The graduates received their pins during the ceremony with family and friends in attendance.

Amber Marek of Goliad, Daniela Medrano of Bloomington, Misty Perkins of Victoria, and Alicia Huerta of Victoria were recognized for the highest GPAs.

Other graduates are Kalyn Watson of Berclair; Juana Bustos and Daniela Medrano of Bloomington; Kelsey Martin of Cuero; Renell Bledsoe of El Campo; Amber Marek of Goliad; Asia Adams of Gonzales; Miranda Hartl of Hallettsville; Elizabeth Sylvester of Inez; Samantha Brumley of Lolita; Jennifer Lopez of Palacios; Brittney Chavez, Ali Kalisek, Emilie Ramirez, Senon Sanchez, Bianca Zambrano, and Brittney Zamora of Port Lavaca; Sabrina Martin of Refugio; Victoria Uresti of Telferner; Rosanna Bermea of Vanderbilt; Mackenzie Borden, Audrey Boswell, Joann Bowie, Christopher Brown, Maryha Castillo, Jessica Garcia, Megan Garza, Leslie Hartman, Stephanie Hernandez, Alicia Huerta, Elias Mendez, Kelsey Mendoza, Citlalli Moreno, Brenda Netro Lopez, Jacquelyn Padron, Hayden Pass, Dana Ramirez, Zitlali Ramos, Serenity Razo, Valerie Ruiz, Alexis Valderamos, Samantha Valdez, Rebecca White, Cayori Williams, and Chloe Young of Victoria; Aleisha Mangum of Wharton; and Jacarri Hights of Yoakum.

Victoria College’s two-year Associate of Applied Science degree in nursing is fully approved by the Texas Board of Nursing and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.

Successful completion of the ADN Program enables graduates to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses. Satisfactory achievement on the exam qualifies graduates for licensure as a registered nurse.
