Victoria College students Cecilia Perez Valdez, Sara Laredo and Christal Martinez have been accepted into the Integrated Pathways of Excellence for Seamless Transition of Engineering Minority Students (IPE-STEMS) Summer Bridge Program at Texas A&M University-Kingsville’s College of Engineering. All three students are enrolled in VC’s ENGR 1304 Engineering Graphics class this spring and will receive stipends to participate in the summer program running July 1-19. They will work on engineering projects with university faculty and interact with engineers from across South Texas.
