Victoria College's Empty Bowls event will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11 in the Victoria College Emerging Technology Complex. Attendees will be able to select a unique hand-made bowl for $20. Each purchase includes soup, bread, and drink donated by area restaurants and caterers.
This collaborative, community effort is supported by a dedicated group of volunteers, ceramic students, potters, restaurants, and chefs.
Activities and a silent auction will also be available. Proceeds go to support the agencies in Victoria whose mission is to fight hunger: Food Bank of the Golden Crescent, Christ’s Kitchen, Victoria Christian Assistance Ministry (VCAM), Meals on Wheels South Texas, and JP’s Market at Victoria College.
Donations of over $250 are acknowledged on placemats used during the event and are included in advertising & social media. Make a donation today! Tickets for the event are only available at the door.
