Information about CLEP

• CLEP is a Credit by Exam program that covers a wide range of courses.
• CLEP study guides are available at the VC Bookstore and other area bookstores as well as the CLEP website.
• Victoria College CLEP POLICY

To Register:

1. Register and pay the $90 exam fee directly to CLEP. 

• Before registering for a CLEP exam through the MyAccount feature, please contact the Testing Center to ensure exam appointment availability.
• You must be registered through CLEP at least 24 hours BEFORE your testing appointment.

2. Reserve your seat at the Testing Center

• $25 fee holds your seat ( Non Refundable Fee)
• Testing must occur within 60 days testing fee is received.
• Testing and registration fees are non-refundable.
• To register online, Follow this link to schedule your appointment
• To register in person, visit the VC Payment Office is located in the Student Services Building (Building #8 on VC's Campus Map). Cash, check, or money order accepted.

3. Don't forget to bring a current ,valid form of ID and your Registration ticket. See 2023 CLEP/DSST Flyer for more information.

• A valid, current photo I.D. is required for all testing (Driver's License, Passport, Military ID, Tribal ID, or a State/National/Province ID). For the TSIA2, a school issued ID is also acceptable.  If you do not have a government issue or school ID, please complete the Accuplacer Student ID Form.
• Calculators are built within the TSI Assessment 2.0 program. Personal calculators are not allowed on this exam.
• Do not bring your children to the Testing Center. Please refer to the Victoria College Student Handbook, Article XVII, Section 19.11.
• All exams are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Please leave all personal belongings in your vehicle. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• Some test administrations may not be available during campus closures or final exam testing.
• Please contact the Testing Center in advance to confirm test date availability if you are traveling from outside Victoria County.
• For students needing Disability Support Services (not including GED, SAT, or ACT), please contact our office for information and scheduling.
