KEY Center

The KEY Center is a grant program funded by the U.S. Department of Education that is able to support 165 students with an academically enriching and supportive environment.

The mission of the KEY Center (a TRIO Student Support Services program) is to promote participation in postsecondary education by encouraging intellectual growth and social development.

According to federal grant guidelines, selected students may receive support from the KEY Center, ideally in the first two years of college to:

  • Obtain a certificate
  • Obtain an associate degree
  • Graduate or transfer within four years
