There may be charges associated with the production of the requested information.

If the charge for fulfilling your request exceeds $40, Victoria College will provide you with an itemized cost estimate before gathering the requested information. If the charge exceeds $100, Victoria College may require a prepaid deposit before providing the requested information.

Requestors may ask Victoria College to waive or reduce the charges if the public information request will primarily benefit the general public. It is solely up to Victoria College to determine whether providing the information requested is in the public interest.

In accordance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act and the Texas Public Information Act, Victoria College will release the following items of directory information (as defined by the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act) without the written consent of the student:

• Name
• Address
• Telephone number
• Date of birth
• Major
• Dates of attendance
• Degrees awarded
• Honors and awards
• Full- and part-time status
• Enrollment verification
• Withdrawal verification
• Student classification (freshman or sophomore)
• Student ID number
• Student VC email address
• Most recent previous institution attended
• Participation in officially recognized activities and sports
• Weight and height of members of athletic teams
