Will Hearn’s Grand Ol’ Christmas Show, a musical comedy featuring Blue Water Highway and the Dirty River Jazz Band, will take place at Victoria College’s Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m. 

The special 20th anniversary tour presentation will feature a unique blend of traditional Christmas tunes, hilarious sketch comedy and contemporary pop-culture satire. The show is described as “SNL in reverse,” offering a fresh take on the classic Christmas experience that appeals to audiences of all ages.  

The performance recreates a vintage radio program complete with a live studio audience, the N-O-E-L Radio Orchestra and Gospel Singers. Attendees can expect to hear their favorite Christmas classics like never before, from heartfelt renditions to unexpected pop-culture twists.  

The event is sponsored by Robby and Tammi Burdge, South Star Wealth Management, and the Texas Commission on the Arts.  

Tickets are $35 for general seating and $40 for premium seating. Tickets can be purchased online at WelderCenter.org or by calling the Welder Center Box Office at (361) 570-8587.
