A total of 210 students are expected to participate in Victoria College’s 97th annual commencement exercises on Saturday, May 14 at the Victoria Fine Arts Center.
The commencement ceremony for students graduating with allied health or public service degrees or certificates will begin at 9 a.m. The ceremony for students graduating with Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, business, technology or industrial trade degrees or certificates will begin at noon.
Reginaldo Flores Jr., of Del Rio, will be the student speaker for the 9 a.m. ceremony, and Victoria Stansberry, of Victoria, will be the student speaker for the noon ceremony.
VC President Dr. Jennifer Kent will deliver the welcome and introductions as well as the closing remarks at both ceremonies.
Tickets are required to attend either ceremony. Each graduate is allotted 10 tickets. Additionally, a livestream of both ceremonies will be available at VictoriaCollege.edu.
