VC Fine Arts Gallery to display Skye Rudin’s ‘Liminality’ exhibit Feb. 3-24

The works of Houston-based artist Skye Rudin will be on display at Victoria College’s Fine Arts Gallery beginning Thursday, Feb. 3 with an opening reception from 4 to 6 p.m.

“Skye Rudin visited campus for a guest lecture just before the pandemic hit,” said Jason Valdez, Victoria College associate professor of art and gallery director. “The students enjoyed learning about her experience studying abroad in London as well as her personal experiences as a Texas artist. We’re excited to bring her back for an exhibition with us.”

The “Liminality” exhibit showcasing Rudin’s paintings and drawings will be on exhibit through Feb. 24.

The gallery is located inside the Fine Arts Building on VC’s Main Campus. Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
