Victoria College’s Gonzales Center will offer an Emergency Medical Technician course on Jan. 20-May 2 from 6 to 10 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The deadline to apply for the course is Dec. 1. Scholarships and financial aid are available.
EMTs respond to medical emergencies and deliver patient care, support and evaluation in a pre-hospital setting.
“There is a demand for qualified emergency medical technicians in the region,” said VC Gonzales Center Assistant Manager Melissa Robinson. “We are excited about offering these classes and filling a vital need in our community and surrounding communities.”
