The Victoria College Foundation recently awarded employee grants for the Fall 2020 semester.
Among the grants awarded was one for $3,000 to VC’s KEY Center for the purchase of four laptop computers. The laptops will allow students to complete assignments, do research, complete homework and participate in remote class meetings.
The KEY Center, a TRIO Student Support Services program completely funded by the U.S. Department of Education, provides assistance for low-income, first-generation and disabled college students. The VC Foundation’s grant competition allows Victoria College departments to apply for funds to implement or enhance activities benefiting students and employees.
