The training on Feb. 22 was made possible by a grant from the Victoria College Foundation.

“They not only had a great anatomy lesson, they were able to see the potential risks of misplacing a needle in chest decompression, and saw the effects of the aging process to include chronic hypertension (enlarged heart) and lung/skin cancer,” said Susie Jechow, VC’s emergency medical services program coordinator.
