Despite facing significant challenges with dyslexia, Jack Horner became a world-renowned paleontologist known for his fieldwork and research on dinosaur growth and behaviors. A technical adviser for all the Jurassic Park and World films, he is also the inspiration for the series’ lead character, Dr. Alan Grant. Horner’s TED Talks attract millions of viewers, and we are thrilled to welcome him to Victoria.

Author of "Class" and "Maid"

Stephanie Land is the author of the bestselling memoirs “Class: A Memoir of Motherhood, Hunger, and Higher Education” and “Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother’s Will to Survive,” which inspired the award-winning Netflix series “Maid.” Despite navigating the challenges of poverty while pursuing higher education, Land persevered and ultimately graduated from college in her mid-thirties.
