Victoria College’s Workforce & Continuing Education Department will offer two personal enrichment courses beginning on Tuesday, March 27.
A bookmaking course will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. through May 17 in Room 304 of the Conference & Education Center at VC’s Emerging Technology Complex. Students will explore the process of making their own books and learn the techniques of bookbinding, stitching and folding.
The cost of the bookmaking course is $240, which includes all materials. VC’s Emerging Technology Complex is located at 7403 Lone Tree Road in Victoria.
Also beginning on March 27 will be a ceramics course on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. through May 17 at VC’s Fine Arts Studio located on VC’s Main Campus at 2200 E. Red River Street. The course is for beginning or advanced students wishing to improve their skills.
The cost for the ceramics course is $175.
