John W. Stormont Lecture: The White Shaman Mural

The John W. Stormont Lecture, The White Shaman Mural, will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15.

Kim Cox, co-author of The White Shaman Mural: An Enduring Creation Narrative in the Rock Art of the Lower Pecos, will be offering a very detailed explanation of the 2,000-year-old White Shaman mural in Val Verde County, TX and an in-depth analysis of the amazing complexities of the White Shaman mural. This lecture discusses the highlights of the discoveries that are detailed in the book.

The lecture will take place at the Museum of the Coastal Bend, located at the corner of Red River & Ben Jordan streets in Victoria (on the Victoria College campus). Admission is pay-what-you-want.
